In Phase 6 children are introduced to the past and present tense. They investigate how to add a range of prefixes and suffixes to words and explore contractions. They practise spelling longer words using a range of strategies, such as syllables and mnemonics.

There are also three tricky skills for children to master: 

-using a dictionary

-proofreading

-comprehension. 

The pack contains 27 cards: 

- One double sided information card

- One tricky words card with three bonus games
